About
Hi, I’m Jeff and I began my photography journey when I was 14 years old with the purchase of my first 35mm camera, a Canon Canonet 28 (which I still have). I quickly knew photography would be my lifetime hobby and passion. A year later I began developing and printing my own film in a home darkroom that my father built for me in the garage. At the age of 18, I began photographing weddings and working at a camera shop.
After completing my first two years of college, my career path didn’t take me into photography as a career. I fulfilled another dream and began a career in law enforcement when I turned 20 years old. I continued in that career, with the same agency, for 31 years and retired as a Captain.
After traveling and taking photographs for a couple of years, I decided that I would return to my passion for photography as my second career. My motto has always been, “Photographs are the best souvenirs of life because they help capture and preserve those memories we never want to forget!”
